  • Economy: Its economy is closely linked to the U.S., with key industries such as tourism, finance, and manufacturing. 

  • Music: Salsa, reggaeton, and plena are musical genres that have had a global impact, with artists like Daddy Yankee and Marc Anthony.

  • Food: Mofongo, arroz con gandules, and lechón asado are typical dishes. 

  • Traditions: Three Kings Day and the San Sebastián Street Festival are important cultural events.
